In the business world, entrepreneurs, executives, and creators often gather in what’s called a Mastermind Group—a community built on accountability, shared wisdom, and mutual encouragement. These groups are designed to unlock human potential through collaboration and creative thinking.
But what if we applied those same principles—not to profit, but to prayer?
What if a group of believers came together to think, plan, and pray with the Master’s mind?
That’s the idea behind The Master’s Prayer Group—a fellowship of faith where believers align their thoughts with God’s creative purpose and release divine momentum through unity.

What Is a Mastermind Group?
Napoleon Hill first defined the Mastermind concept in Think and Grow Rich as:
“The coordination of knowledge and effort between two or more people who work toward a definite purpose in a spirit of harmony.”

Modern definitions expand that idea: a Mastermind is a group of like-minded people who meet regularly to encourage, learn from, and hold each other accountable to well-defined goals.

Business versions focus on profit. Ours will focus on prayer with purpose—Spirit-led and heaven-focused. A creative partnership with God through prayer.
From Mastermind to Master’s Prayer Group
Here’s how the six principles of a traditional Mastermind Group translate into the spiritual dynamics of The Master’s Prayer Group:
- Collective Prayer Intelligence
Members share spiritual knowledge, testimonies, and insights to discern God’s direction for their families, church, and community.
“One mind united in Christ prays bigger than one man alone.”
- Accountability
Participants commit to pray, act, and believe together. They hold each other accountable for consistent prayer and faith-filled obedience.
“Faith grows fastest in community.”
- Supportive Environment
A safe, Spirit-led space where believers can share victories and challenges without fear of judgment.
“The power isn’t just in our words—it’s in our willingness to be real with each other.”
- Diverse Perspectives
Members come from different churches, backgrounds, and spiritual giftings, enriching the group’s understanding of how God moves.
“Different voices—one choir, one purpose.”
- Regular Meetings
Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly gatherings—online or in person—keep spiritual momentum alive.
“Faith grows by repetition.”
- Goal Setting
Members set specific, measurable prayer goals—not to control God, but to focus faith.
“We don’t just pray—we aim.”
The Foundation: Asking, Believing, and Creating with God
Jesus said:
“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
— John 14:14 (NKJV)
No small print. No limitations—except this: what we ask must glorify the Father.
This is not a prayer group that merely hopes God can. It’s a group that knows He will.
Our foundation rests on these six truths:
- Truth is God’s Word.
- Truth is God’s abundance.
- Truth is peace that passes understanding.
- Truth is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
- Truth brings glory to the Father.
- Truth is that nothing is impossible.

We base our faith on John 14:12 (NKJV):
“He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.”
How to Launch The Master’s Prayer Group
- Clarify the Vision
Ask: What is God calling us to pray into? Revival? Healing? Restoration? Unity? - Establish Covenant Guidelines
Agree to confidentiality, consistency, and accountability. Each member must protect the group’s spiritual integrity. - Invite the Right People
Look for four to eight believers who are committed, teachable, and prayer-driven.

- 10 min — Worship and opening prayer
- 20 min — Testimonies and answered prayers
- 20 min — Focused intercession for specific needs
- 10 min — Review goals and next steps
- Track Prayer Goals
Record what’s being prayed for, when, and how God answers. This builds faith and expectation. - Celebrate Breakthroughs
Every answered prayer fuels the next. Every testimony glorifies Christ.

Affirmations of The Master’s Prayer Group
We align with God’s purpose.
We cooperate with His blueprint for our lives.
We live as if there are no limitations.
We act as if revival has already begun.
Your Challenge This Week
If collaboration works for the world’s wealth, imagine what could happen when believers apply it to the world’s greatest power—prayer.
Step out of solo prayer mode.
Gather 3 to 5 believers who share your hunger for revival.
Set your first meeting.
Define one measurable prayer goal.
Then watch what God does when you agree together in faith.
